DinnerPlates
Terms of Use
Effective October 20, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of Dinner Plates (“we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
Your account
You need an account to use Dinner Plates. Keep your sign-in details safe and give accurate information. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
Households
When you join a household, its other members can see and change the household’s shared meals, plans, lists, budget and related data. Only share invite codes with people you trust. You can leave a household at any time.
Your content
You own the meals, photos, notes and other content you add. You give us permission to store and display it to you and your household so the app can work. Don’t add content you don’t have the right to use, or anything unlawful or harmful.
Estimates, not advice
Grocery quantities, price estimates, budget figures and leftover suggestions are approximate and for planning only. Prices are not live store prices. Always check ingredient labels for allergens and dietary needs, and follow safe food-handling practices — the app’s food-safety tips are general guidance, not a guarantee.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the app — for example by trying to access other people’s data, interfering with the service, or using it to break the law.
Changes and availability
We may change or improve the app, and may suspend or end the service. We’ll try to give notice of significant changes. You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
Disclaimers
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the past 12 months (if any).
Apple
If you downloaded the app from the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, and is not responsible for any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, except where the law of your home country requires otherwise.
